Golfer, Paige Spiranac stars in new Netflix series as ‘hater’ after teasing cameo
Netflix’s Full Swing season three is set to debut on Tuesday, and Paige Spiranac is making an appearance on camera.
Earlier in the month, Netflix dropped the first trailer for the third iteration of the series.
When they posted it, Spiranac reposted it on X with a teasing caption.
“You’re going to see a familiar face on this season,” she said.
Sure enough, soon in the trailer Spiranac appeared while talking about Bryson DeChambeau..
“I was one of Bryson’s biggest haters,” she said in the trailer.
Golf fans loved to hear that Spiranac would be in the new season and shared their thoughts on social media.
“Haha, love it!” one fan said.
“You are so talented!” another fan said.
“I’m watching!” a fifth fan said.
Spiranac spent one year as a pro golfer before becoming a famous Instagram model with 4 million followers.
“From the start, it was a massive controversy I was there,” she said of her time in the pros.
“There were pros, legends of the game, discussing if I belonged.
“People were taking bets about whether I would come in last. I’m this kid who has no experience, no media training. I completely bombed and publicly cried about it.”
Spiranac recently made news for her support of the Hooters restaurant chain.
The chain is on the verge of bankruptcy, and closed several branches in the US last year.
Many were left unhappy with the collapse of the iconic chain, including Spiranac.
