‘She Is the Greatest Female Player Ever’ – When Donald Trump Tried to Play Tennis Against Serena Williams in a Suit
Undoubtedly, Serena Williams is one of the greatest tennis players ever to play the sport. Apart from her incredible achievements on the tennis court, she has also done extremely well off the court as well. She has already reached new heights with her clothing brands and various other businesses.
Despite all her celebrity status, she rarely got herself involved in politics. However, she once played some exhibition tennis with former US President Donald Trump during the unveiling of a new tennis facility.

Before becoming the President of the United States, Donald Trump decided to open a modern tennis facility in 2015 at the Tennis Performance Center at Trump National Golf Course in Sterling. During this event, Serena Williams was also there to promote the tennis center. Speaking about it, Williams said, “It’s good that we can have this city’s… like you have a lot of young players. Like all these young kids that can come out and play and represent this country. So, it’s good to see to have that kind of support.”
“It’s great to see facilities like this while growing up… I feel like the tennis facilities kind of disappeared. When I was playing there were so many American players coming up, and there were so many young players,” she further said.
Then Trump praised the American tennis player as he said, “She is the greatest female player ever.“
Later, they played some exhibition tennis for all the young fans. Interestingly, Trump did not dress to play tennis, as he was wearing a suit. However, he still managed to hit some shots against the American player.
